Water service in Brighton Township is generally provided by individual homeowners and business using their own deep wells. The wells are regulated by the Livingston County Health Department (LCHD). Country Club Annex water has been switched over to the Livingston Community Water Authority as of January 3, 2008. New water emergency number to call is 248-889-1922. In 2002 Brighton Township committed to expand municipal water into the Township. We joined with Green Oak and Hamburg Township to form the Livingston Community Water Authority (LCWA). LCWA water mains serve buildings on Whitmore Lake road and Old US 23 from the south Township line to Weber Drive. Water emergencies for this area are answered by calling (248) 889-1922.
