Treasurer’s Tidbits

  • ONLINE PAYMENTS ACCEPTED: The Charter Township of Brighton is contracted with an online payment company to receive online credit card payments.  This service allows payment by phone or over the internet for both tax and utility bills for a fee at www.BrightonTwp.com.

  • PARTIAL PAYMENTS ACCEPTED: For people who prefer to make payments rather than one lump sum payment for their taxes, partial payments are allowed throughout the particular tax season without penalty.  No additional costs are associated as long as the total is paid in full by the

EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2011

The Brighton Township Quarterly Sewer Rate has been adjusted. The cost per Residential Equivalent Unit (REU) is as follows:

  • Capital Charge $70.50
  • Operations and Maintenance $90.00
  • Total $160.50


Tree Trimming

ITC will be doing tree trimming as early as next week in the Aldine/Stephen Street and West Grand River area. Tree trimming could last approximately five weeks. Any questions, please call ITC at 877.ITC.ITC9
