Attn:  Registered Voters Interested in Seeking Election to the Board of Trustees

Registered Voters interested in filing Partisan Nominating Petitions to run in the August 7, 2012 Primary Election for the Brighton Township Board of Trustees can pick up candidate packets in the Offices of the Township or County Clerk.  The Board of Trustees includes the offices of the Township Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer and 4 Trustees.  Potential candidates must file an Affidavit of Identity and associated nominating petitions with signatures. 

ALL petitions for local township offices must be filed in the Office of the Township Clerk by 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday May 15, 2012.

2011 Winter Taxes
Winter 2011 taxes are payable from December 1st through February 29th at the Treasurer’s office.  A drop box is available to the left of the Township Hall entrance.

Both summer and winter 2011 Real Property Taxes revert to the Livingston County Treasurer for payment beginning March 1st and payment cannot be made at the Township.
